Archaeological Museum of Salted Fish

During Late Antiquity, the Port of Mazarrón was an important economic centre on the Murcian coastline linked to fishing activity. Next to the port facilities was located (during the 4th-5th centuries AD) a large salting factory that occupied a large area on the right bank of the bay.
